LONDON (CelebrityAccess) — Alt-rockers Garbage announced the cancellation of all remaining dates for 2024 after the band’s lead vocalist, Shirley Manson, recovers from an injury.
“It is with great and sincere regret that we announce the cancellation of all of our remaining dates for the rest of the year due to an injury that Shirley sustained on our recent tour in Europe that will require surgery and rehabilitation to correct.
This is not a decision we have taken lightly and we apologize wholeheartedly to our amazing fans and supportive promoters. We look forward to playing for you all again in 2025. Sending much love as always. Stay kind.”
The band did not elaborate on the nature of Manson’s injuries.
Affected shows include the the Hera Festival at Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez in Mexico City on August 24th, HFStival at Nationals Park in Washington D.C. on September 21st, the Ohana Festival in Dana Point, CA on September 27th.
Ohana organizers announced that Devo will step into the new vacancies on their lineup, while Liz Phair has been added to the bill for HFStival.
