Krueger struck a deal with demonic forces, and he’d return to Springwood to start a new reign of terror. Targeting the children of the people who murdered him, Krueger would hunt them in their dreams, killing them off one-by-one, and inspiring a wicked-cool nursery rhyme in the process.
