AMC has given us our latest glimpse at The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon Season 2, which is subtitled The Book of Carol. The Walking Dead spin-off trailer shows Melissa McBride’s Carol fighting her way to meet up with Norman Reedus’ Daryl in France, where he decided to stay at the end of last season. Meanwhile, Carol continues her search in America, but it seems that the events of the season will finally lead to the two reuniting.

For once, the trailer for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon – The Book of Carol doesn’t give away too much.

While Daryl Dixon and Carol eventually meeting up in the second season of The Walking Dead spin-off is inevitable, it’ll be very interesting to see how they get there. McBride and Reedus aren’t the only ones who will be appearing in the second season, as Clemence Poesy, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, Laika Blanc Francard, Anne Charrier, Romain Levi, and Eriq Ebouaney also star. The new trailer shows us the consequences of Daryl’s decision to stay in France as he continues to help protect Isabelle (Poesy) and Laurent (Scigliuzzi) from the frightening Pouvoir.

Meanwhile, the trailer for Daryl Dixon shows that Carol will arrive in France by plane, but her rescue mission to find Daryl is clearly going to be full of dangerous obstacles. The Walking Dead spin-off trailer also shows us that the season will have plenty of action, with a tank taking out zombies in one scene. Carol also gets to show off her skills in one scene in the trailer, as she fights off zombies with a knife while traversing a tunnel.
