Of course, Dave Bautista likely won’t be performing his WWE special in every single movie from now on unless he never plans on leaving the action genre. Though it would be pretty funny to see it randomly fit into a romcom or a prestige drama. However, it might have undercut his ability to give a subtle and nuanced performance, as he did in Blade Runner 2049.
But as long as Dave Bautista is starring in an action film, it seems likely that WWE will make the cut. My Spy: The Eternal City is definitely an action film.
My Spy: The Eternal City is the follow-up to 2020’s My Spy and sees Bautista and Chloe Coleman reprise their roles from the first film. The Eternal City follows Bautista’s CIA agent, JJ, as he reunites with his protege Sophie, to stop a terrorist plot against the Vatican.
