Jack Sparrow And His Pirates Of The Caribbean Friends Set Sail For Fortnite’s Shores Today

Fortnite’s recent trend of mid-season content passes will continue in Chapter 5 Season 3, but this time there’s a swashbuckling set of skins setting sail. The Cursed Sails Pass introduces the Pirates Of The Caribbean to the island, with Captain Jack Sparrow in the starring role.

The Cursed Sails Pass offers a free and premium path filled with pirate-themed plunder, with every purchase of the premium path automatically unlocking the captain of the Black Pearl himself. Other items included in the pass are the Skulls and Cross Swords back blings, Jack’s Cutlass and Bane pickaxes, and the Cursed Jack Sparrow outfit.

A series of Cursed Sails quests have unlocked along with the pass, with players earning Cursed Gold by completing the tasks within. Earning enough gold unlocks a piece of a map, and collecting all eight map pieces before the end of the season will unlock the Jack’s Ship glider.

Captain Jack isn’t the only pirate dropping into the Fortnite island’s shores, as three of his seafaring associates–Elizabeth Swann, Captain Barbossa, and Davy Jones–are now available in the Item Shop. Each can be bought separately or in packs with extra cosmetics, while the Pirates Of The Caribbean bundle groups them all together with an additional emote for a discounted price.

Fortnite is available now on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices. The Cursed Sails Pass, along with the Pirates Of The Caribbean bundle in the item shop, will be available until August 6.
