Jalan Masjid India ditutup kepada lalulintas susulan tanah mendap, akan luaskan penutupan jalan – polis

Susulan tanah mendap yang dikesan pada awal pagi tadi berdekatan sebuah pondok polis iaitu pada jarak kira-kira 50 meter dari lokasi insiden tanah jerlus di Jalan Masjid India, Kuala Lumpur, baru-baru ini, keseluruhan jalan terbabit kini ditutup kepada lalulintas.

Bernama melaporkan pita kuning Polis Diraja Malaysia (PDRM) turut dipasang sepanjang jalan dari Masjid India hingga Maybank di Jalan Bunus. Bagaimanapun, pejalan kaki masih dibenar melalui sebahagian jalan itu yang tidak terjejas manakala kedai di kawasan sekitar dibuka seperti biasa.

Menurut Ketua Polis Daerah Dang Wangi, Asisten Komisioner Suliezmy Affendy Sulaiman,perbincangan sedang dilakukan untuk memperluas penutupan jalan dan perkembangan lanjut akan dimaklum kemudian.

Insiden tanah jerlus pada Jumaat lalu menyebabkan seorang wanita dikenali sebagai Vijayaletchumy, 48 tahun, dari India hilang selepas terjatuh ke lubang sedalam lapan meter dengan operasi mencari dan menyelamat mangsa memasuki hari keenam hari ini.
