Jabatan Pengangkutan Jalan (JPJ) telah mengumumkan pelantikan Aedy Fadly Ramli sebagai Ketua Pengarah baharu berkuat kuasa semalam, 23 Julai 2024. Pelantikan itu bagi menggantikan Datuk Rospiagos Taha yang memegang jawatan itu sejak 19 Jun 2023.
Menurut JPJ, Aedy Fadly berpengalaman dalam perancangan strategik dasar, isu dan sistem berkaitan pengangkutan jalan serta perancangan operasi JPJ semasa menjawat Timbalan Ketua Pengarah (Perancangan dan Operasi) JPJ sejak 2021.
Berkelulusan Ijazah Sarjana Sains (Pengurusan Bandar), Universiti Teknologi Berlin, Jerman, beliau juga pernah memegang jawatan sebagai Setiausaha Bahagian Pembangunan di Kementerian Pengangkutan, Setiausaha Bahagian Perolehan dan Aset di Kementerian Pendidikan serta pelbagai agensi Kerajaan Persekutuan.
“Berdasarkan pengalaman dan kepimpinan, beliau akan terus memacu kecemerlangan JPJ dalam menggalas amanah negara sebagai agensi utama yang mengawal selia hal ehwal pengangkutan jalan di negara ini,” menurut JPJ menerusi kenyataan yang dikeluarkan.
