Lady Deadpool And The Deadpool Corps Arrive In New Deadpool And Wolverine Trailer

Deadpool and Wolverine is just over a week away from premiering in theaters, but Marvel Studios is far from finished promoting it. Earlier trailers have introduced Dogpool and teased the introduction of Lady Deadpool. But in the newest trailer for the film, it looks like there’s a full Deadpool Corps on the way, including a previously unrevealed Cowboy Deadpool.

The way the trailer is arranged, it appears that the alternate versions of Deadpool are opposed to Wade Wilson (Ryan Reynolds) and Wolverine (Hugh Jackman). This suggests that they may be working for the film’s villain, Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin). And after the fight, only Dogpool is welcome to accompany the unlikely duo, over Wolverine’s objections, of course.

Lady Deadpool’s face isn’t revealed in the footage, which suggests that she’ll be played by a well-known actress whose cameo is being held back as a secret. The most-likely Lady Deadpool would be Reynolds’ wife, Blake Lively, who previously co-starred with him in the 2011 Green Lantern movie. But it’s also possible that Lady Deadpool will be played by a different actress. Having said that, we’d be surprised if Lady Deadpool has a substantial part in the film.

If there’s anyone still holding out hope for a Taylor Swift cameo in Deadpool and Wolverine, it’s probably not going to happen. But there will be other familiar faces from 20th Century Fox’s X-Men movies including Sabretooth and Pyro. Deadpool and Wolverine will hit theaters on July 26.
