Lord Of The Rings: Rings Of Power Season 2 Trailer Brings War To Middle-earth

Lord of the Rings fans have to wait just two more weeks before the Season 2 premiere of Prime Video’s Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. As we saw a few weeks ago at Comic-Con, the season is packed with Middle-earth goodness with Ents, the Balrog, and of course, the rings themselves.

Prime Video released a new trailer Wednesday that shows what’s at stake when war comes to Middle-earth and the Rings of Power come into play. Check it out below.

We have Celebrimbor (Charles Edwards) coming to terms with his creations, as well as realizing he was also deceived by Sauron, under the disguise of Annatar. This trailer is more concentrated on the world at war showcasing some serious battles coming up with elves above and dwarves below, both taking on dark forces.

There’s also a forging of an alliance with Adar (Sam Hazeldine), who is the first to mention the eye of Sauron. In Season 1, Adar was beginning to lay the ground for the land of Mordor, the eventual home for Sauron’s eye at the top of Barad-dûr.

Showrunners Patrick McKay and JD Payne announced back in February that they extended their partnership with Amazon and signed a new three-year deal with the company, getting an early start to Season 3.
