M3gan Spinoff Soulm8te Casts The Boys And Call Of Duty Actor Claudia Doumit

Claudi Doumit is reportedly joining the upcoming M3gan erotic thriller spin-off called Soulma8te. A new report says The Boys star will appear in Soulm8te alongside the previously announced cast members Lily Sullivan and David Rysdahl.

The story for Soulm8te follows a man (Rysdahl) buying an AI-powered android (Sullivan) to help him deal with the loss of his wife. “In an attempt to create a truly sentient partner, the man inadvertently turns a harmless lovebot into a deadly soulmate,” reads a line from the movie’s description. Deadline broke the news of Doumit joining the cast.

Doumit plays Victoria Neuman on The Boys. She’s also known for portraying Farah in the Call of Duty franchise.

Blumhouse is partnering with James Wan’s Atomic Monster on the spin-off after both companies enjoyed great success with the original M3gan film.

Soulm8te is being fast-tracked for release and already has a date on the calendar: January 2, 2026, with Universal on board to distribute.

You Are Not My Mother director Kate Dolan has signed on to direct Soulm8te. She re-wrote the script, too, following an earlier draft by Salvage Marines writer Rafael Jordan. Jordan, Wan, and Ingrid Bisu are attributed with coming up with the story.

“Fundamentally, I view this film as an exploration of relationships and loneliness,” Dolan said in a statement. “Despite technological advances, there are enduring human truths we cannot escape, and I am looking forward to delving into those depths.”

As for the M3gan sequel, M3gan 2.0 releases on June 27, 2025. As mentioned, the sequel delves further into AI, with Wan saying, “We’re exploring the AI universe even further” with the sequel.

Blumhouse is also making a Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel and recently announced ambitious plans in the video game space.
