In frustration at being unable to stop the rempit behaviour of his son, a man set fire to his son’s Honda EX5. User kajolmarey01, in a TikTok post, said he had lost patience with his son’s recalcitrant behaviour, staying out late and racing on the road.
Kajolmarey01 said this is the punishment for his son’s stubbornness and refusing to listen to his father. “Because you don’t listen, you don’t understand, this is what happens. Burn it, easier,” kajolmadey01 can be heard saying in the video.
Continuing his words, the frustrated father said the motorcycle was for his son to go to school but instead the young lad turned into a demon on two wheels. Kajolmarey01 then spits on the burning wreckage of the bike.
However, in a follow on video, Kajolmarey01 is seen asking forgiveness from netizens who judged his actions too harsh. In contrition, he says his actions were born out of sheer frustration, adding that he prefers to get rid of the bike before the worst happens.
“I did this because there are two things I don’t want to have happen to my son. One is I don’t want to receive a call from the police saying my son in the police station for rempit behaviour. The other is I don’t want to get the call that no parent wants to hear, that their child is dead,” says Karolmarey01.
