Sticking even closer to Anne Rice’s source material than was done in the movie, Netflix customers who tune in for Interview with the Vampire are in for a dark journey of romance, race, economic standings, and abuse. The show centers around the vampire Louis de Pointe du Lac (Jacob Anderson) as he recounts his centuries-long story to a journalist named Daniel Molloy (Eric Bogosian).
Weaving his tale, Louis speaks about his turning at the fangs of Lestat de Lioncourt (Sam Reid), his struggle with teenage vampire Claudia (Bailey Bass), the toxic relationship that he has with Lestat, and his ever-changing feelings toward being immortal.
