Nintendo has been fairly active this year with its Direct livestreams, and hot on the heels of an episode that showed off its new museum, you can look forward to more news from the gaming giant. This week, Nintendo is doubling up on events and has combined an Indie World presentation with a Partner Showcase. The Nintendo Direct for August 2024 will start at 7 AM PT / 10 AM ET today and is expected to run for around 40 minutes.

So what can you expect from this Nintendo Direct? The company has already confirmed that it won’t be talking about the Switch 2, and as usual, everyone is hoping for Hollow Knight: Silksong to make a grand return after a lengthy period of development. The indie scene always has plenty of games ready to make a splash on the Switch, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a selection of cozy and innovative titles showcased today.
