There are several advantages to having a gaming PC, but the biggest barrier to entry is arguably the price. That’s something that NZXT is looking to tackle, as the PC parts manufacturer is launching a new subscription program that’ll let you rent a gaming PC.
Called Flex, NZXT says the service offers regular upgrades without having to commit to a long-term contract, and it has no hidden fees. NZXT added that you can cancel your subscription at any time and it guarantees an upgrade every two years. You’ll still need your own monitor, speakers, and other accessories, but NZXT’s prebuilt gaming PCs will take the sting out of that investment.
Anyone interested in Flex can choose from three subscription models, and each prebuilt PC is equipped with a 40-series Nvidia GPU. The most affordable plan starts at $59 a month for a PC with an Intel Core i5 CPU and an Nvidia RTX 4060, $119 amonth for a PC equipped with an AMD Ryzen 5 5600X and RTX 4070, and $169 a month for a PC with a Core i7-13700KG and a RTX 4070 Ti Super.

“At NZXT, we believe everyone should be able to play the games they love,” said Bryan de Zayas, NZXT’s head of marketing said in a statement. “In the past, that meant buying a pre-built PC or building your own. Our new Flex subscription service offers gamers more flexibility and choice, so they can focus on what really matters–playing the games they love.”
NZXT says that subscribers can expect delivery “within three to five days” and it’ll offer a lifetime warranty and 24/7 support coverage throughout the life of the subscription.
