LONDON (CelebrityAccess) – Iconic UK rock band Oasis has finally confirmed their long-awaited reunion, marking their first UK and Ireland shows in 16 years.
The Oasis Live 25 tour will bring brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher back together on stage after years of speculation and rumors surrounding their reconciliation.
Scheduled for the summer of 2025, the tour will include a series of massive stadium performances across Manchester, London, Edinburgh, and Dublin. Fans started buzzing when Liam hinted at his return as the band’s frontman, cheekily responding to fan questions with, “I never did like that word FORMER.”
This month marks the 30th anniversary of Definitely Maybe, Oasis’ iconic debut album. On its release, the album became the fastest-selling debut in UK history. Packed with timeless tracks like “Supersonic,” “Live Forever,” and “Cigarettes & Alcohol,” the album’s impact remains as powerful today as it was in 1994.
Definitely Maybe has sold over 6.9 million copies worldwide and is the second most streamed album of the ’90s, just behind their own *What’s The Story Morning Glory?* at No. 1. This milestone celebrates not only the band’s legacy but also the enduring relevance of their music.
In a joint statement, the band declared: “The guns have fallen silent. The stars have aligned. The great wait is over. Come see. It will not be televised.”
The official dates for the 2025 UK and Ireland tour are: July 4, 5 at Principality Stadium, Cardiff; July 11, 12, 19, 20 at Heaton Park, Manchester; July 25, 26, August 2, 3 at Wembley Stadium, London; August 8, 9 at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh; and August 16, 17 at Croke Park, Dublin.
This reunion is expected to be a significant win for the concert promoters, SJM Concerts and Live Nation, who are poised to handle the tour. The schedule has some gaps, fueling speculation that more dates might be added.
