This is technically a two-in-one art book, as you’re getting a look at both Persona 5 and its enhanced and expanded edition, Persona 5 Royal. It’s a hefty 544-page hardcover tome of character illustrations, promotional art, rough concepts, detailed creator commentary, and an interview with series artist Shigenori Soejima, this will be an essential purchase for Persona fans.
Art books and collectibles based on Atlus games tend to be very popular, and since Persona 5 is the studio’s most popular RPG, we’d expect this book to be uniquely popular in comparison to previous Atlus art books and encyclopedias. The Design Works books for each Persona game typically have limited print runs as well, so once they’re gone, you’ll have to deal with the reseller market in case you don’t reserve an order.

If you haven’t played it, Persona 5 tells the story of the Phantom Thieves, high school students who save people from the twisted desires of those around them by awakening the power of their true selves. It’s wonderfully weird stuff, and worth checking out. It’s available on all modern platforms, and since it has been out for a few years, you can get a pretty good deal on a game that’ll keep you occupied for dozens of hours. The 1 More Edition includes the game and a lot of cool extra content, like high-quality prints of the game’s cast, a designer briefcase bag, a 24-card tarot deck, and a lot of extra DLC. Normally $120, the Switch version is on sale for $90 and the PS5 edition is slightly more expensive at $103.50. Sadly, Xbox Series X owners will have to pay the full retail price.
