DES MOINES, IOWA (CelebrityAccess) — Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, better known to fans as DJ Starscream, revealed that he suffered significant injuries in an accident involving a bonfire at his farm.

Wilson told Fox News Digital that he suffered burns to his face and arm while trying to light a burn pile with gasoline.

“A few nights ago, I lit it and let it burn down. So, the next day, I went to check it to see, you know, how much was left, if anything. And there was a certain amount of debris around the side still left, so I, like a dummy, [did] what I’m not supposed to do, but I added some gas to it,” Wilson told Fox.

“It was really humid out so there was still a lot of vapors lingering around in there, and it just … woof. Exploded.” he added.

Wilson said that he suffered burns to his right arm and his face, which is “basically melted from the nose down.”

According to Wilson, he still plans to join Slipknot for their Sept. 1 show in Oklahoma.

“I always find a way to pull it off,” he told Fox News Digital.

Wilson shared a series of images from his subsequent hospital stay on social media.
