Star Wars Outlaws Hides An Adorable Easter Egg Involving The Game’s Furry Friend

In Star Wars Outlaws, pointing your blaster at Nix will have your furry companion “play dead” in a cute Easter egg interaction.

Posted by Star Wars Daily Games, by hovering your reticle over Nix, Nix will stand up with Kay saying “Pew. Pew,” and Nix will fall over–essentially “playing dead.” Kay then congratulates Nix for an all-star performance.

Below, you can watch the “play dead” interaction play out.

This is one of several ways the player can make Kay and Nix bond during the course of the game. In the galactic street food minigame, players can even share a meal with Nix by following the on-screen button prompts. Completing these food minigames grants Nix new abilities such as kicking away enemy grenades or improving his distraction capabilities in enemy encounters.

Star Wars is known for its easter eggs in many of its games, like the Darth Jar Jar theory making its way into LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, but Nix “playing dead” in Star Wars Outlaws is definitely one of the cutest Easter eggs in the game.
