The 2TB Series X releases October 15 alongside the 1TB All-Digital Xbox Series X and the 1TB white Xbox Series S.
Microsoft’s trio of upcoming Xbox Series X|S models are available to preorder now ahead of their October 15 release. The refreshed lineup includes the first 2TB Xbox, a Special-Edition Galaxy Black Xbox Series X, which is up for preorder at Best Buy in limited quantities. You can also preorder the white All-Digital Xbox Series X 1TB for $450 and the 1TB white Xbox Series S at multiple retailers.

The Special-Edition Galaxy Black Xbox Series X features the same internal hardware as the standard console except for one key difference–it’s packed with a 2TB SSD. That gives you more space than ever to store all your Xbox games. It also comes with a unique paint job, as the console is matte black flecked with neon green. The black Xbox Wireless Controller has green accents.
Microsoft notes that this console will be “available in limited quantities,” and we can’t imagine it’ll be available for long before selling out. Best Buy’s listing also states it expects to sell out soon.

The Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S had a baby, and it’s called the Xbox Series X Digital Edition. This is essentially the same product as the standard Xbox Series X, but it’s now boasting a white color scheme and no optical drive, meaning it’ll only play digital games.

Rounding out the announcements is the Xbox Series S 1TB in Robot White, which follows hot on the heats of last year’s Xbox Series S 1TB in Carbon Black (sold out). It’s a standard Xbox Series S console (meaning no optical drive and lesser hardware than the Series X), but it comes with 1TB of storage instead of just 512GB. Microsoft previously released a 1TB all-black Series S.
Note that GameStop has it listed for the correct $350 price, while Target has it for $400–this will likely change soon.
