Marvel’s Fantastic Four Movie Receives New Subtitle



After the cast was announced and confirmed for Marvel Studios’ Fantastic Four this past February, the latest installment of Marvel’s first family gets a new title. Announced at Marvel’s Hall H presentation during Comic-Con, the film will now be called The Fantastic Four: First Steps.

Since the movie starts filming in late-July, obviously there was no footage, However, there was a vintage style science reel made by the Future Foundation presented to the audience. In the video, Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal) hosts a science show called Fantastic Science. We see the crew in a jet engine explosion, as well as Richards and Ben Grimm (Ebon Moss-Bachrach) prepping for space travel.

They are seen as celebrities and even have there are flying cars and see them lifting off into space. At the end, we see a Galactus eye peer through a window. This movie was officially teased back in 2022 during Marvel’s Hall H presentation with simply the logo at the end of the panel.

Galactus will be voiced by Ralph Ineson, and Silver Surfer will be played by The Ozarks star Julia Garner. Actor John Malkovich will also star, in an unannounced role.

Alongside Pescal, Moss-Bachrach, Ineson, and Garner, Fantastic Four: First Steps stars Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm and Joseph Quinn as her brother, Johnny.

Fantastic Four: First Steps is scheduled to be released on July 25, 2025.
